Locate and Rate

This is a screenshot of planning our location for our scene. It is a local abandoned barn that will be good for our genre of horror. We chose it because it will be easy to access as well as perfect for our genre of horror. It is local to everyone in our group and we hope to meet up for shooting when it is raining for an even creepier effect and dull or dark time of day, as all horrors are.

The problems we might face with this is actually entering the site safely and carefully. The main entrance is in a spot that will not be good for filming and so we may have to get over the fence way. The actors are aware of the safety risks this may encounter but have agreed to proceed anyway. We are thinking of putting a secure bench or chair in front of the fence and editing it out using our computer software so the dramatic scene is not ruined but lots of cuts changing and filming that would be too challenging to make a good continuity of.
Considering the convenience, suitability yet accessibly of this I deem it 4/5.
We did consider another location such as the local woods and beach Sand Bay, which would have been good for filming as it has lots of open rural space and creepy atmospheric woods. This is a screenshot of us planning the location at sand bay. As you cans see, the woods are in close proximity to the beach with good background scenery.

Limitations of it is  the fact it is several miles out of convenience for all of our group and it is out of distance from buses, so we may not be able to get there in the precise time we have set ourselves in the evening. It is also a popular walking spot and it would be better to have a quiet spot where we do not have to risk having to ask people to avoid our filming area.

I give this location a 2/5.

We decided  after some discussion we would film at the barn location because we thought the barn was more original and would be better when it comes to shooting.  We are planning to meet up and check out the site for where we will film and rehearse before so we know of any issues we may have and try and solve them before it comes to shooting day.
